BRIEF HISTORY OF THE BOMBAY
‘C’ WARD MEDICAL ASSOCIATION

Six stalwarts in 1950 got together to give birth to The Bombay C Ward Medical Association (BCWMA), first of its kind in our country. The six stalwarts were Dr. Nagindas Shah, Dr.Babubhai Desai, Dr. H. T. Mehta, Dr. Himatlal Desai, Dr. Ambalal Parikh and Dr. Navnit Shah. Later on, many dedicated members and illustrious leaders of the medical profession had their roots and initial training in the BCWMA. They nurtured the baby with sincerity and devotion and helped the BCWMA achieve its present status.
